My mother, the romance author, sent me a pic today, snapped by her own camera, in her own kitchen, with a message. Both below.

Subject: Not a holy face...

But this russet potato is meant for someone you love!

Wisht you wuz here.

Yes, it's a highly romantic tater! Carbo-loading meets carbo-loving.

Thanks for the mash note, mom. (bad pun very much intended)

I hope you all in Internet land share it with someone you love, too.

My Mom's Latest Book!

My mom has yet another novel about to hit stores -- it's coming out tomorrow. Romantic Times gave it a whopping 4 1/2 stars! And Coffee Time Romance said of her latest, "This fabulous read is pure joy and delightful in every way."

But why should you buy her book over all the other fabulous historicals in the world? Because she is very romantic. Proof below:
Enchanted Mommy
Doggies, babies and her heroes and heroines all feel the Layton love. (click to see full size)

Wow, right? And if you buy her book, who knows, maybe she will get romantic with YOU!*

Yes, now you are convinced, and dying to read her latest book. Well fret not, dear blog reader, you can buy it right here! Aint technology great?

PS Tomorrow look for my mom guest blogging on Romance Vagabonds!

*Don't hold your breath. Also, she's going to murder me for that line. Snausome!

ILLITERATE LOUSE MAKES LAYTON LIVID!

G'ma Layton 2.28.07 3
Is this baby trying to ruin author Edith Layton's illustrous career?

In the second installment of "Ask Edith Layton" on romancenovel.tv, Ms. Layton is showing off her book collection when suddenly, and quite without warning, a woeful wail is heard. Layton tries to keep it together, but watching the video, you can tell her blood is boiling!

One baby quickly emerged as the prime suspect in the library vid scandal. A baby who thinks if he can't read, no one shall. A baby who doesn't know how to spell CAT, yet has tricks that are dirtier than his diapers:

Are other historical authors at risk?

Watch it now right here and see if you don't agree with fans worldwide that this mini mite merits a muzzle!
